The process
How it works
Four steps, one point of contact. You deal with us; we deal with everyone else.
Free roof inspection
We photograph and document your roof, inside and out. If there's no claimable damage, we tell you so and leave you with a certificate saying your roof is sound.
Timeframe: [to be confirmed]
We lodge and manage the claim
We prepare the evidence, lodge the claim with your insurer and handle every call and email after that.
Timeframe: [to be confirmed]
We negotiate the settlement
We push for the full scope of repairs your policy entitles you to, not the cheapest patch job.
Timeframe: [to be confirmed]
Licensed builder rebuilds
A licensed builder completes the work, project-managed end to end. Any insurance money paid to you comes from your insurer directly. We never handle it.

Step 1 in detail
The free inspection
We check the roof surface, flashings, gutters, skylights and ceilings inside, and photograph everything we find. You see every photo we take.
If there's no claimable damage, that's the end of it, and you keep a written certificate from us stating your roof was inspected and found sound. Either way, the inspection costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
How long it takes: [to be confirmed].
Who does what
Four parties, clear roles
Apex Claims
Inspects, documents, lodges the claim, negotiates the settlement, and project-manages the rebuild. Your single point of contact.
Your insurer
Assesses the claim and pays any settlement straight into your bank account, never through us.
The builder
A licensed builder carries out the approved scope of work.
You
Approve each stage, provide your policy details, and deal with your insurer directly for anything involving your bank details.
From you
What we need from you
- Your insurance policy number and insurer's name
- Access to the property for the inspection and the build
- Photos of any interior damage you've noticed (or we'll take them)
- Your sign-off at each stage, because nothing proceeds without it
